What you need to decide
Clear answers to the questions teams ask before choosing an AI support agent.
01What's the difference between an AI phone agent and a traditional switchboard?
A traditional switchboard routes calls through keypad menus. An AI voice agent can understand speech, answer questions and follow a configured workflow, including a handoff to staff.
↗02Can an AI phone agent handle multiple calls at once?
Yes, an AI phone agent can handle parallel calls. Call capacity and any limits vary by service.
↗03Does an AI phone agent sound robotic?
Modern AI phone agents use natural-sounding text-to-speech (TTS) that is hard to distinguish from a human in ordinary conversation.
↗04Can calls be transferred to a staff member when needed?
It depends on the telephony workflow. Aveexia voice handoff and the path to a staff member are reviewed and tested if they are part of the pilot.
↗05Can we replace our existing switchboard with an AI phone agent?
It depends on your telephony provider, call flow and what you want to automate. An AI agent may complement a switchboard, but it is not a fit for every setup.
↗06Does the AI phone agent work in Swedish?
Aveexia Voice is designed for Swedish customer conversations. Ask about other languages when we review the pilot scope.
